Our goal is to focus on what is important: Christ our Lord, His Doctrine, and the view we have. Often those that engage in doctrine forget that the doctrine has a purpose, to mold and shape us, rather than we molding and shaping it.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and again...welcome aboard.

Because this forum is new, there are not many topics from which discussion and debate might more easily be entered, so I can give two primary options, the first being that you can utilize one of the boards already in place, such as Controversial Doctrine or Gray Areas (whether something stays in "Incontrovertible Doctrine" remains at the discretion of the staff), and you can post about a doctrine you may embrace or reject (i.e., Deity of Christ, tithing, et cetera), or, you can look through the site I have had up for several years... s4.zetaboards.com/S_T_Rangers/index/...where there are a number of posts which can be easily referenced for discussion or debate. If your wondering why I didn't point that one out first it is because I don't really advertise that site or try to promote it, as it has been a bit of a "safe haven" for me after my campaigns, lol. The new forums, hopefully, will be sites which hopefully will be promoted and the membership will be larger. Feel free to quote anything there on this forum, or you can post there. I do like the functions on this forum better, though, and Saint Rangers has a few bugs. Probably the easiest thing would be to start a thread in the form of a question, which could be either out of curiosity or antagonism towards that issue, such I usually do in a number of threads which are staples in my campaigns, such as "Were Men Born Again Before Pentecost?" which begins a debate which entails the New Birth, the Indwelling of God, and the Ministry of the Comforter. Another one is "Who Populates the Millennial Kingdom?" That one is geared to begin discussion about the Rapture and other eschatological issues. One of the things about theological discussion is that we all have beliefs, no matter what we profess to be. The question we have to ask ourselves is this: are we confident that the basis we have for our beliefs will hold up under critical examination? In other words, it's okay for me to believe that men were not born again before Pentecost, but if I take that belief into a Christian community, where we suppose there are other Bible Students who have studied the same basis I present for my views, will they acknowledge my belief as error or proper doctrine? That is the test we all have available to us. No matter the religion, or the perceived lack of religion, no matter the faith, or the denomination, does what we believe, or disbelieve, have a basis which will hold up in discussion and debate? Glad to have you here, Bazz, and look forward to discussion.
